Aqua di Santa Maria Novella Parfum

Acqua di Santa Maria Novella is a bouquet of fresh citrus notes with a base of Calabrian bergamot, and Santa Maria Novella’s oldest fragrance. Caterina de’ Medici commissioned the Dominican monks to create the perfume in 1533, and took it with her to France when marrying Enrico di Valois. A parfum rather than cologne, consistent with its history.

Top: Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon, Tangerine, Neroli.
Middle: Petitgrain, Lavender, Rosemary, Clove.
Base: Benzoin Sumatra.
